Merry YouTube

YouTube is again letting users send videos as Greeting Cards. Cool idea – choose from some sentimental rubbish to the more amusing Frosty The Inappropriate and the Annoying Drummer Boy.  And check out the new HD videos too, like Heather Nova’s Always Christmas, below:

Mailplane 2.0 released

Mailplane

Mailplane is one of my must-have apps, as it brings a whole lot of desktop functionality to GMail such as drag and drop files, the ability to automatically optimize photo attachments, and send screenshot captures as instant attachments. They have just released version 2.0 which boasts some 40 new features, mainly built around support for GMail 2 such as video chat support and so on. Well worth the upgrade. If you’re a GMail user and don’t have this, it’s $24.95 well spent.
It’s Mac only right now but a Windows version is on the way.

Good news – the iPhone is finally coming to a Bermuda network near you. Cellular One is promising to bring in unlocked iPhones “within the next three to four months,” according to CEO Michael Leverock in the Bermuda Sun.
