Parallels gets even better

Posted: November 16, 2008 in Mac, Technology

If like me you have to run Windows on your Mac (one day QuickBooks Online will get their act together but until then …) then Parallels has long been a great tool for doing just that. Now they’ve just released Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac and it’s well worth the $79.99 (or the $39.99 upgrade through November 30).

The interface is much more Mac-like but better than that, the Coherence feature makes switching between your Mac and virtual Windows machines without rebooting faster and  more seamless than ever. Sharing documents, files and cutting and pasting between apps is a cinch – the Windows Start menu even pops up in your dock.

I’ve not used the highly respected VM Ware but I can thoroughly recommend Parallels. If you have to use Windows, you won’t regret it.
