25 Items the iPhone Has Rendered Useless
Posted: October 12, 2009 in humour, iPhone, Mac, TechnologyNo sign yet of my credit from the rip-off merchants at Cable & Wireless but I see that rival carrier TBI has launched a 6mbps service for $149.95 a month – that’s $30 less than C&W. No chance of a rate drop from C&W, though – a sales executive tells me no price drops are planned for the rest of the year.
Footnote: Today (Oct 13), after me asking yet again, C&W offered me a “goodwill” credit of $179.95 (one month’s 6mbps service). Don’t think it will be enough to stop me switching, though. No company with half an ounce of public relations sense and customer service levels would treat customers like that.
