Not quite as good as 2009’s Maudlin Career at first listen but I’m a sucker for Tracy Anne Campbell’s plaintive voice and Camera Obscura’s delicately bittersweet songs. Cri Du Coeur, Every Weekday, and Fifth In Line To The Throne stand comparison with some of my favourite Scottish band’s best material to date.
