Bermuda’s wonderful singer-songwriter Heather Nova finally has a new album out. The Jasmine Flower, recorded at home in Bermuda – all on solar power, apparently – and is a stripped-down production of just Heather, guitar, a few strings and another batch of (at first listen) beautiful songs, soulfully sung and played. You can download the album direct from her website for about $15. That gorgeous cover, by the way, was taken by my friend and very talented Bermudian photographer Sacha Blackburne.
