Lots to like in today’s Apple announcements from WWDC: an iPhone with many of the features (video, voice dialling, cut and paste) it should have had a version or two ago, and souped up MacBooks for a start, with Snow Leopard OS due in September. With the release of the new iPhone 3GS (the S is for speed), Apple is dropping the price of the old iPhone 3G to just $99 with a two year contract.
Those $900 Bermuda iPhones now seem even more of a sick joke. Unlocking an overseas device seems even more tempting now – even Kit and Caboodle offers an iPhone unlock service for just $45 these days!
