Apple updates iPods and Touch

Check out Macworld for a comprehensive round-up of today’s Apple announcements – Nanos with video cameras, beefed up iPod Touches and new iPhone software plus better GB-per-dollar pricing. All very nice but think they missed a trick by not including a camera and/or video and microphone with the Touch – maybe that’s coming next. As for that much-touted iPad or tablet – word is that we may see something early 2010.

Apple Rumor Roundup

So what is Apple planning to announce at tomorrow’s “It’s only rock and roll” event? Here are a few of the latest rumours from MacLife – my money’s on tricked out iPod Touches complete with mics and cameras. Don’t think the rumours of The Beatles finally being available on iTunes will happen as the remastered CDs are only just being released, so why cannibalise those sales? And also, why would Apple use a line from a Stones song to tease it … unless that’s the point. Mick would be amused.
