Spanning the GMail gap

Posted: May 24, 2008 in internet, Mac, Technology

An update to my previous post about Spanning Sync, a useful plug-in of you use both iCal and Google Calendars. They’ve just launched the public beta of v2.0 which now also syncs Address Book with GMail contacts. Some testers have reported issues with Leopard but I installed and ran it with no problems (so far). As I use GMail almost exclusively now and we rely on Google Calendar for business – its easy to share and update across systems and mobiles – this added functionality is a real bonus.
